Ann was predeceased by her husband Edward Douglas Arnold (Eddy) in 1971 and by her husband John Howard Baldwin (Jack) in 1991. After Eddy’s death Ann raised her six children. Midlife she studied nursing. After receiving her RN from Okanagan College, she worked at the Kelowna Hospital as a prenatal educator. She also lived in Tucson, Arizona for many years where she studied nursing and received her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Arizona. There she worked as a parish nurse into her 70s. Ann lived a long and good life. She gave much to her family and to the world. She was a fine friend and leaves many close friends behind. She was generous to those in need. She loved gardening and dogs, especially Tori. She instilled in her children many gifts including a love for music and the arts, as well as a keen appreciation for the beauty of nature. Her family is most appreciative of the exceptionally fine medical care she received from Dr. Paul Hart of Kelowna, of whom she was particularly fond. We also thank Evelyn Pimentel whose devoted care and assistance allowed Ann to live independently during her illness as was her wish. Ann left this world having lived a very full life. She left with few regrets and she will be sorely missed.
To celebrate her life a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 4619 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna, BC.
