BUTLER, Gerald Malcom

— January 20, 2015

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the age of 77.  Survived by his son Michael Butler of Coquitlam; daughters April Butler, Brenda Butler both of Kelowna; grandchildren Sasha (Brett) Cooper, Dillan Butler, Shantel Butler (Trevor Doniak); great grandson Jonny; brother Ron Butler (Colleen) of Parksville.  Sadly predeceased by his wife Jean.  Celebration of Life will be held at St. James Church located 4506 Sherwood Drive, Regina, Sk. on June 19, 2015 at 1 pm.

 

Jerry loved his family, his work with CAA, his volunteer work with Kiwanis and the Shriners Club. A great passion of his was spending time on the golf course, playing bridge, curling and enjoying the yard with the birds and flowers. The cottage at Last Mountain Lake was also a great source of enjoyment.

He was a joy to be with both at business and at social sessions.He and Jean ware always encouraging and supportive during my term as CAA National Chairman in 1993.
