DELISLE, Heather Lynn (nee Lubbers)

January 1, 1970 — January 1, 1970

Heather was born October 1, 1961 in Smithers, BC died suddenly on April 11, 2016 along with her beloved husband Lynndon (Skip) Delisle near Nakusp, BC. They were returning to their home in Wynyard, Saskatchewan when their small plane went down.  Heather was a beautiful person whose life revolved around her family and close friends.  She always had a smile on her face and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her Mother, Marg E Lubbers of Smithers, BC; son, Jordin Hartmann and wife Shantelle of Kelowna, BC; daughter, Kelli-Lynn Lubbers of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren, Drew, Noah, Daniel and Fritz; sisters, June Ann Lang and husband Bruce of Kitwanga, BC, Nancy E Voth and husband Ken of Wanham, AB, Patty M Eddy and husband Wally from Cranbrook, BC and Kathy M Grant and husband Jim from Victoria, BC; brothers, David Lubbers and wife Farida of Keremeos, BC, and Donn F Lubbers and wife Bev of Smithers, BC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was predeceased by her father Henry J Lubbers, sister Sharren Lebioda-Johnson, nephew, Nicholas Doll, brother-in-law, Richard Doll and brother-in-law, Ted Lebioda.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 11:30 am at the First Lutheran church at, 4091 Lakeshore Rd Kelowna BC, followed by a reception at the church. Internment at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 165 Valley View Road, Kelowna, BC at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Vancouver Children’s Hospital Foundation, 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 4H4.
