We Remember

DUNGATE, John Keith

July 16, 1938 — April 15, 2017

John passed away peacefully at home April 15, 2017 in Kelowna BC.  He was born July 16,1938 in Vernon BC.  After graduating from UBC Law School in 1965 he moved to Prince George where he practised law until 2013.  He is survived by his four children, Trevor Dungate (Jennifer), Tammy Ramsay (Ian), Troy Dungate and Trina Dungate and his four grandchildren.   Also, survived by his sister, Betty Smith (Gordon), sister-in-law Pat Dungate, nephews Donald Dungate (Nicky), Scott Dungate, George Dungate (Paula), Lawrence Dungate, Brent Smith and nieces Cheryl Smith, Leah Smith (Kevin), Theresa Dungate (Jim), Theo Dungate.

John enjoyed an active life of skiing and cycling as well as spending time with his grandchildren and many friends.  During his last four years, he enjoyed happy times and great travels with his good friend, Glenda Payzant. John will be sadly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held in Vernon, May 13, 2017 from 2pm to 5pm at Temptasian restaurant, 5600 Anderson Way.  250-275-6688
