DUNIS, Rosa

December 5, 1930 — June 5, 2017

Rosa went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Survived by her sons: Silvan Dunis of Kelowna, BC, Stan (Linda) Dunis of Oliver, BC; grandchildren: Maya (Ryan) Peever, Daniella (Petr) Ivandic; great grandchildren: Kaela Peever, Caitlin Peever, Alexander Peever, Nolan Peever, Ava Ivandic, Carson Ivandic; sisters, Ada Krapec (Mladen) of Kelowna, BC, Letizia Salomon of New York, USA; brother Ivan (Mary) Luksic of Hamilton, ON; nieces: Dorthoy Luksic, Tetinanna Krapec, Gordana Krapec; nephew Ivan Luksic. Predeceased by her husband Mate Dunis.

Rosa immigrated to Canada in 1965. Her and her husband Mate lived in Edmonton, Hamilton and Kelowna. She enjoyed her church, family, friends and her garden. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed.

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC and a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Rd N, Kelowna, BC. Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation www.kghfoundation.com/.
