Condolences

  • John & Elma Hiebert says:

John & I had wonderful visits with your mother on behalf of the Impact Seniors at Kelowna Gospel Fellowship church. At our last visit with her on Tuesday, August 11/15, she looked wonderful, her voice was clear and strong. She spoke lots of her family, and family experiences when the children were younger. Our visits with your mother always ended with a word of prayer. Now, she will not have the ringing in her ears! She is at home with the Lord. It was a blessing to visit her. It was a shock to hear that she had passed away.

  • Tammy and Kelly Campbell says:

Sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. Its never easy to lose a loved one.

  • Morley and Rita Halter says:

So very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences.

  • Helen (Thiessen) Froese says:

My sympathies to you, Nancy and Jim, and your families, on the death of your mother! (Kay was a cousin of mine on the Thiessen side (your Grandma Peters of Winkler). Whenever your parents, and then later, only your mother, came to Manitoba – she made a point of visiting Reinland, where our Thiessen grandparents lived all their lives. (David and Sarah Thiessen were my parents, and oh what a wonderful lady your mom, Kay, was. I especially loved her voice! She and my mom used to keep in regular touch, till my Mom got sick, and then died in 2014. What a HUGE loss a mother is. I doubt we have seen each other since your parents and you kids lived in Portage la Prairie, MB – motel owners I think?
Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers!!!

  • Linda Dixon (Dyck) says:

Nancy/Jim – I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Tante Kay was always talked about highly in our households. She was a generous Aunt and I spent some time at your parents place while looking for work in Kelowna. My mom always kept us up to date on how your mom was doing. She looked forward to the Christmas card letters from her. We will miss her. She had a good life and I pray your memories will keep you strong. Love and prayer – cousin Linda
