We Remember

GREEN, Terence Maynard

January 4, 1930 — August 19, 2018

Terry passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family.

 

He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa.  As a young man, he enjoyed playing field hockey and cricket.  He started as an Apprentice Compositor and ended his career as Production Director for the Argus Newspaper Company/The Daily News, Durban.  He retired after 47 years of service.  Terry spent many years as an official with Natal Athletics and as Treasurer for Natal Cross Country.

 

Terry and Connie emigrated to Canada in 1995 to join their family. They made wonderful friends in Kelowna, BC and celebrated their 60th Anniversary in March of this year.  Terry is reunited with his precious daughter Robyn in Heaven.

 

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Connie; children: Joanne and Roland Muller, Alison and Hugh Barker, Steve Woycieh; grandchildren: Gillian and Matt Gabelhei, Develyn Barker, Duncan and Taylor Muller, Siobhan Barker and great grandson Alex Gabelhei.
