Passed away on June 18, 2015 at the age of 87. Survived by his loving wife Inge of 65 years; daughters Ally Bombay (Arman), Erika McCann (Ian); sons Alvin Hoffmann (Blanche), Tony Hoffmann (Donna); grandchildren: Tammy Bombay and her daughter Lexus; Terry (Charity) Bombay and their sons Jeremi and Gage; Daryl (Lorraine) Hoffmann and their children Ashton and Autumn and Chrystal Hoffmann (Nathan Smith) and their children Morgan and Sydney; also survived by his sister Sofie Blau. Predeceased by his son Willy in 1974 and his brother Adolf in 2007. Alfred came to Canada from Germany in 1953 and farmed in Flat Bush, Alberta for 36 years; retiring to Kelowna in 1987. He loved to fish, enjoyed carpentry work and Alfred will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
