Passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the age of 70. He is survived by his sister Nancy (Liz) Furman of Kelowna; niece Tracey Stolarchuk and her children Megan, Sean, and Michael; nephew Gene Garland (Lori) and their children Ian and Brian; and his aunt Vicki Driedger and her family. Gordon is predeceased by his parents, Adolph and Margery, brother David and great nephew Paul. Gordon was a life-long member of Local 110 Brotherhood of Heat & Frost Insulators & Asbestos Workers, awarded his 40 year pin for service to his union. A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9 from 6 – 8 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. Cremation with private interment to follow. Gord was our best friend/brother/hunting partner and confidante who we will miss most dearly. You are in our prayers and will never forget our good times together. Sorry for my late condolences to Liz. Gordon was one of my dearest friends. we lived life hugely!! Living in Hawaii, working together at San Onefre. Always enjoyed the best of the best! Enjoying the great laughs w/Eddie, Donnie, Buddy, Bert, Dennis and Dennis, so many more. These were the best times of my life spent w/Gordon. Gordon had the biggest heart and gave so much. I miss him dearly!! Know you were loved by so many Gordon!!
