It is with the profound sadness that the family of Bryan Lloyd King of Kelowna, BC announces his passing on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 60 years.
Bryan will be forever remembered by his beloved wife of 24 years Shelley Waskul. Bryan is survived by his two sons Matthew and Michael King, sisters Beverly Pelletier and Melody (Allan) Platsko, and brother Richard. Bryan was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Irene King, and his brother-in-law Victor (Beverly) Pelletier.
Bryan was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 4, 1957. He loved playing the drums and treasured playing in his father’s band. After a rewarding career in the printing business, Bryan retired to Kelowna in 2010. He appreciated everything that the Okanagan had to offer and especially loved cruising its winding highways in his Corvette with Shelley at the wheel.
Although Bryan’s body succumb to illness, Bryan’s spirit and mind remained strong. Very special thanks go to the doctors and nurses at Rutland Community Dialysis and the KGH Dialysis Unit. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service (as per Bryan’s request). Condolences can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bryan’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kelowna General Hospital or a charity of the donors’ choice.
