We Remember

LIDDICOAT, Richard James

May 6, 1942 — June 23, 2016

In loving memory of Richard James Liddicoat, born May 6, 1942 in Princeton BC, whom went to be with the Lord on the 23rd day of June, 2016 in Kelowna BC at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sarah; loving son, Aaron James and stepchildren Tawn, Shawn and Lanaya; his Mother Rose, sister Sandra, brothers Dennis and Dave (Renee); and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by much loved father Jack and younger brother Kenneth.  Richard was a man who loved his lifetime career as a long haul truck driver as much as he loved being a husband and deeply devoted father, and was dedicated and loyal to both parts of his life without reservation. He was truly the happiest on exciting holiday adventures in “the land where the kangaroos live,” Australia or “sunny,” Mexico with his family and those memories will be cherished forever.

His life was a blessing

His memory a treasure

He is loved beyond words

And missed beyond measure

A private family memorial service was held at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Phil Collins on June 29th 2016 at 1:00pm.
