My heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences Cathy for you and all the family. I was shocked to hear of Glenn’s passing. Time passes bye so quickly! Thinking of you all at this most difficult time.

  • Pamela Morley says:

1991-1992 Glenn was principal at Pearson Road Elementary when I was a brand ‘newbie’ teacher – my first full time teaching position and my first time having my own class. He was very supportive and had a ‘team’ approach to all aspects of education. Even though I was only at Pearson Road for that one year, I learned so much there because of his leadership style. Of course, I continued to see Glenn over the years when he was in a district position and visited schools. He always had a friendly greeting and a smile for everyone when he stopped in. Cathy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Glenn was someone who really made a difference in all the lives he touched. For me, he helped to shape the teacher I became.

  • Dave Leyden says:

“I feel very fortunate to have had Glen as a friend.
I think one of my fondest memories of him was at one of the hot tub staff parties at his house. The staff we had those years was the best and most fun-loving staff of all. Glenn was a huge part of the camaraderie. Glenn was doing his usual job of trying to keep the staff under control, and failing miserably I might add, when a couple of staff members pounced on him and dragged him into the hot tub clothes and all. Glenn handled it with his usual good humour. We, however, did not release Glenn from his duties of getting us drinks, and cheered him as he sloshed back and forth to the kitchen.
When I first arrived at his school Glenn quickly gained my respect with the way he treated all people as equals. He was always willing to join in on a practical joke, often instigating them, and always took it in a cheerful way when they were played on him.
Glenn was an awesome principal, an awesome person and an awesome friend. I was blessed to have him in my life.
    Thanks Glenn!!!”

  • Joanne Taylor says:

    Dear Cathy:
So sorry to hear of Glen’s passing. He was a kind and supportive principal- very approachable and down-to-earth. He always went out of his way to support the students and teachers at Pearson (as in our gigantic Q104 paper mache lizard) – the MAC computer labs – or crazy staff parties. I remember those times fondly. Hugs to you and your family. Joanne

  • Kevin Litke says:
