We Remember

MACLEAN, Jim MacDonald

November 17, 1930 — July 19, 2017

Our beloved friend and loved one, Jim MacLean went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2017.  James was born to John and Margaret MacLean on November 17, 1930 in Greenock, Scotland and immigrated to Canada over 55 years ago.  Jim was a great example of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.  His life reflected love, joy and peace, which was contagious to everyone he met.  He loved all of God’s creatures, especially West Highland White Terriers.  Jim is predeceased by his wife Marion (2015).  He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Shaw; brother Frank MacLean; two nephews and five nieces: Freeman Hodgins, James MacLean, Myla Hodgins, Carol and Margaret Houston, Linda and Lorna Shaw; as well as sister-in-law Elizabeth MacLean.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 27th at 10:30 am at Peachland Baptist Church.  Interment at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
