We Remember

MCALPINE, Caren Patricia

December 4, 1963 — August 15, 2017

Born on December, 4, 1963 and passed away on August 15, 2017 at the age of 53. Caren is survived by her loving husband David Lloyd McAlpine; sons Tyler, Dayton and Dustin; granddaughter Meegan; mother Lori Moorman; sisters Susan and Cindy; and brothers Kevin, Colin, Mike, Blake, Keith, and Gary.  She is predeceased by her father Charles Moorman and sister Debbie.

Caren was a mother figure to many people and will be greatly missed.

She was happily married and a loving mother to 3 boys, loving grandmother to one granddaughter and a friend to so many. She loved music, travelling, shopping and spending time with her family.  Family was the most important thing in her life, and she was the person who had everyone come together through family dinners and get togethers.  She was always there for anyone she cared about, whether helping financially, physically, or emotionally, you knew she would be there giving 110% because she truly loved to help others.

She lived her life dedicating it to her family and her long time career as the manager and accountant at the West Side Husky. She was caring and loving, and always there to help or aide anyone who needed it.  Caren was a beautiful person inside and out, and had a smile that would light up the room.  You could always rely on her for advice and insightful guidance, as she was a natural role model that made a positive impact on so many lives.  It saddens us deeply to say good bye to such a truly genuine person much too early.

Condolences

  • Joe MacDonald says:

So sad to hear of Caren’s death. Our hearts grieve along with friends and family. There is comfort and hope in what Revelation 21:4 says “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Also John 5:28 “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth;” What a happy time that will be when death will be replaced with resurrections and Caren will live again. Although these thoughts do not take away the grief at present; may Gods Word be a source of comfort for you and your family.

  • M&M Radawetz says:

When I seen her a short time ago she was busy but still had time to stop and have a few words with me before I left the Husky. We certainly have lost a kind, gentle and loving soul in Caren, “adios-amigo”. We will miss your presence. Thank you for always being there.
