To Melba and family, we send our deepest condolences on the passing of Henry

    • Maggie Cruz says:

Henry was a close friend to my husband Ernie Cruz. I met Henry in Hawaii and really enjoyed listening to the two of them reminiscing and laughing about their antics in the Marine Core. Another soldier has gone home. May God bless and comfort you all! I’m so thankful for Henry’s gift of service to our country! Much aloha!

  • Sandy Harris says:

So sorry to hear about your loss. Henry will always have a special place in our hearts.

  • Dawn Graham says:

    Dear Melba and Family,
I’m so sorry to hear the news of Henry’s passing. His fun loving presence will be very much missed at Maili Cove…the sound of his Southern accent calling up to my Dad on the second story unit “Can Bob come out to play!” is forever embedded in my heart. Henry always had a happy smile, a kind greeting or a thoughtful wave…such a wonderful man.
I’m sure there’s a crib game going on in Heaven.
Hugs & love to you all,
    Dawn Graham

May we send our sympathy to Melba and Family. Even knowing Henry for a short time as part of the Mission A&W coffee regulars, he will be missed. He was such a friendly and kind guy to all who he met. Still recall his sense of humour. He enjoyed teasing
people. That’s when his eyes lit up! Sorry for your loss!

  • Alan and Bonnie MacKenzie says:

    To Melba and family
Just heard of Henry’s passing. Was so good to see you both just a few weeks ago at the Harvest Golf. We knew Henry was not doing well but he still had that awesome smile and fun loving spirit. Our condolences to you all.

    Melba and family,
Was so sorry to hear of Henry’s passing. I was privileged to meet him at Maili Cove the first time in winter of 2013-14 when I stayed in my brother (Darrel Mortenson) unit. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile. Prayers and Hugs
