A wonderful tribute to an incredible wife, mother and grandmother.May you keep your memories close to your heart.❤️

  • Marcia Cherrett says:

My deepest sympathy to you on your loss. Shortly after Glen and Christina started dating, I was privileged to attend a display of Rhythmic Gymnastics (with ribbons and hoops) by Christina’s PE class in North Vancouver. If you’ve never seen this sport, check it out on YouTube. Besides teaching and choreographing, Christina displayed other creative talents – designing / painting / producing silk clothing and designing and producing jewelry. She and Glen were wonderful hosts and her meals were memorable. We shared many enjoyable family times when our children were young and we lived in the same province. I’m sorry that we won’t be able to join you in a Celebration of her life, but can’t get away at this time of year. We will miss you, Christina. Our love to you Sasha, Tyler, Lindsay and Grayson.

  • Dianna Ritchey says:

  • Christina Swindells-Nader says:

Sasha, Tyler, and all Christina’s loved ones, you have my deepest sympathy. I was proud to have the same name as her from the time I met her in Kindergarten, and have looked up to her since then for the way she made the world around her a better and more beautiful place with humour, grace and love. I will be wearing bright colours on August 12th and thinking of you all. I wish I could be there in person.

  • Krystyna says:

Sasha and Tyler, I have many fond memories of your Mom Christina while she was a cherished client at Bandeau’s and always looked forward to hearing all about what the two of you were up to through her eyes. She was so proud of both of you and she was always a joy to be around. Her spirit will be missed. Ange Becker

  • Sharon Leveque says:

Dear Sasha and Tyler, We go along way back when you were a candy-striper Sasha and I met your Mom. I admired her creations and have several. She gave the most amazing speech when Glen was inducted into our Central Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame. We chatted fairly recently and I am just so sorry. She will be missed by many and her smile is one we will never, ever forget. Also, she was was encouraging when I bought many pieces of Fifth Avenue Jewellery — I will wear them with pride and think of her every time. So sorry I cannot be there tomorrow — I truly would love to be, however I will toast her and remember a truly GRAND lady. With special thoughts and deepest sympathy. Sharon Leveque

  • Tanny (Konkin) Vermeulen says:

It was the early 1970’s at Delbrook High School when we met our PE teacher, Christina Knight. She shone like a brilliant star and helped each of us, “her ladies” shine alongside her. So many wonderful memories of Girls Galore and volleyball practices and games but the greatest memory of all was witnessing the magic that happened between her and Glen and the absolute joy they found in their beautiful children, Tyler and Sasha. Again with her Glen….
Our deepest sympathies to the family.
    With love, Tanny & George

  • Jen Odorizzi says:

    Sasha, Tyler, Lindsay and Grayson,
I can’t imagine what you are going through. You were so close to your Mom. Seeing the love in your family is really powerful. I’ll always remember your Mom backstage, sewing costumes for us. She was so connected to so many kids, and was a Mamma figure to a whole community. I hope you cherish the family connection you get at this time. There’s nothing to bring you close like losing someone special. Sending so much love❤️

  • Ingrid Houde says:

I just heard of Christina’s passing, and wish to pass on my deepest condolences to her family. Christina was one of the nicest people I have ever known, and she was there to take in my beloved cat, Sam, when I needed to find him a loving home. I’m sure he was the most spoiled cat on the planet once they found each other. I will miss Christina and think of her whenever I see something purple.
