We Remember

NICOLLE, Kim John

August 18, 1958 — July 28, 2016

Kim fought a brief but valiant battle with cancer and passed quietly in the early hours of July 28th, 2016.

Kim was predeceased by his parents John and Beryl Nicolle of Regina.   Kim leaves behind his loving wife Darlene, his daughters Autume and Vanessa, 5 grandchildren Seth, Owen, Olivia, Ava and Joseph. Kim was the oldest of the siblings and leaves a sister Angela (Andres) two brothers Randy (Brenda), John (Janice) and estranged brother David (Kathy).  He also leaves many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Kim moved to Kelowna in 2004 having decided he had had enough of the Vancouver traffic after 18 years. Kim opened KGB Motorsports and worked hard to make it a success. Kim was a proud man who owned and ran businesses throughout most of his life and was a salesman at heart, he loved to make a sale.

His love of music was known to all and his library rivalled that of a radio station. Everyone knew if you wanted some music to listen to all you needed to do was ask and he was happy to share. Kim loved sports cars and he always owned one of some sort. The other love of his life after his wife was his dog Suesse who went with him everywhere even riding along on the scooters.

Kim could be found many days at the usual time of about 1:30 having coffee with the gang at Second Cup and discussing cars or the latest events. His smiles and laughter will be missed by all, but his music will never die.

There will be a celebration of life for Kim on Saturday, August 6th at 2:00 pm at #32-1525 Bear Creek Road, Kelowna, BC.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
