Friesen, Niel (2010-07-23)FRIESEN – Niel faced life and death on his own terms. His passion and denial of limitations lifted him to greatness in all that he pursued, whether in music, or athletics, or behind the wheel of a high performance vehicle. His life was both a celebration and a battle, always lived to the fullest. Though his body was weakened by time and fate, his spirit remained unconquered. His last month was spent on the open sea, hiking in the mountains he loved, and awash in a flood of high octane. He shared his final days with those he loved. On July 23rd he chose to start his final adventure alone. Take Kitty and blaze a trail for us Dad, we’ll catch up later. Tea to be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Rutland Centennial Hall.
