  • Diane Kelly (was Langham) says:

Sad to hear that your father has passed away. It was good to read all the things he accomplished. I know you will support each other and tell each other of the great times and funny things you all did as a family. May your memories hold you tight and keep you safe.
    Diane

  • Don and Diane Hluchy says:

I have many fond memories of Mau after having taught with him at both KSS and KLO. We both completed our masters at Gonzaga University. He got the better of me a couple of times in Spokane! Mau lived life to the fullest and often confessed that life was meant to be lived without restraint. Our condolences to Jean, the children, and grandchildren.

  • Rolli and Mary Cacchioni says:

Sincerest condolences Jean and all your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Fond memories of working with Mau at Dr. Knox School.

  • Sharon Bede says:

Mau was an inspirational leader for teacher librarians both locally and provincially. His dedication to his profession was only matched by his love of reading and research, his skills as a teacher, and his respect for the students that he served. His energy level was enviable and his passionate belief about the role of libraries in education was only surpassed by his willingness to assist his colleagues.

  • Bernie & Ev Monteleone says:

Jean & Family . . . Saddened to hear of Mau’s passing! As a fellow staff member at KSS, his sense of humour was always refreshing. An outstanding librarian. Cherish your memories & those special time you shared. You’re in our thoughts & prayers!

  • Susan Ives says:

Dear Jean, Please accept my sincere condolences, for you and your family, at the loss of your beloved Mau. He made such a difference in the lives of so many folks in this community. He will be sadly missed by many. May all your wonderful memories of your 60 + years together sustain you and keep you throughout the times ahead.
    With love, from Susan Ives.

  • FLAVIO MANDERIOLI says:

I HAD MR. REVEYRAND AS HOMEROOM TEACHER IN GRADE 9 AT DR. KNOX, 1966-67.
I’D JUST ARRIVED FROM ITALY, COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH BUT I FOUND MR. REVEYRAND TO BE HELPFUL, KIND AND FUNNY.
GOD BLESS YR SOUL, “MO”, AND THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR US STUDENTS.
    FLAVIO MANDERIOLI

  • Don Rampone says:

Mr Reveyrand was my English teacher at Dr Knox 1966-67 and made our classes more than interesting. I recall the day he made us all write sentences using new vocabulary words… and the word of that day was PARADOX. We all searched our dictionaries and went ahead and wrote our sentences. At the end Mr Reveyrand wrote his on the chalkboard… “At a recent medical convention held at the Capri Hotel, a PARADOX sat in one corner discussing…” I will always remember that day, that word and this special teacher. Fast forward 25 years and I meet him again… this time as a fellow Teacher-Librarian in this district… he was still a shining light in our educational system. Thank you for sharing him with us. Special thoughts for Jean and family.

  • Bob & Pat Passmore says:

Jean, Louise, Teresa, Roger and families, we have fond memories of the Knox years and family get togethers. Your Dad/husband had such a great sense of humour and was fun to be with. We know you will miss him dearly.
(And Louise, we want you to know that we are ever grateful to you for the extra care you took in organizing Mike’s plaque and signs. )

  • Jill Starky says:

Dear Jean – we worked together such a short time and so long ago – but it is not forgotten. Very sorry to hear that Maurice had a long illness but I am sure your time with him was all the more precious. Affectionately, Jill
