Condolences

  • Oh dear Janie, we are so sorry to hear of your passing. You have been such a long time friend of the Thompsons and we have shared so many laughs and good times. You were a bright shiny happy person. Full of life and compassion for others. We all lovingly referred to you as Janet from another planet as you were your own person and did what pleased you. Our moms name was also Janet so that helped to distinguish you two. She enjoyed you very much. Your last visit to my house was a delightful surprise and you said that you might forget what you were talking about or repeat yourself. I did not know where you went after that but you were in our thoughts and the many stories that we tell. You are with family and old friends now and watching over us all. Say hello to the ones we know for us. We love you Janet. Be in peace. All our love Heather and Rick Thompson and family.

  • Janet always said, “I come from a long line of NUTS !” … meaning her name JAN-NUT. That always made me and my son’s laugh. She is so funny and always picked me up when I was down. And vice-versa. Jannie was/is my best friend in the world. We always refered to each other’s friendship as a spiritual one. Bonded through unsaid words. We are “FOREVER FRIENDS”. I was like a sister she never had. We played all kinds of games together for hours on end including pool, 10,000, yahtzee and canasta. She loved to win !!! She was hilarious and excitable to compete. I love you Jannie dearly and miss you terribly. We will meet again in the Lord’s Kingdom. I hope you are your happy self. Thank you for being my bride’s maid in 1987. My boys adore you. Xx o.o
    Love forever,
    Louise Erickson

PS: to Janet’s aunt and family, I send my condolences to you. She talked to me about you guys often and how much she loves you. Could you please inform me when and where Janet’s memorial will be. [email protected]

Thank you and God bless you.
