We Remember

ROSSI, Dr. Luigi Duilio

In loving memory of Dr. Luigi Duilio Rossi, who passed away peacefully at his home in Kelowna, surrounded by family, on October 28, 2017 at the age of 61.  He is survived by his father, Carmine; mother, Alba; brother, David (Lynda) and nephews Colby, Brandon and Hayden; uncle, Silvio (Mary) and family; as well as numerous cousins.

Luigi was born in Smithers, BC in 1956.  He graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Medical School and went on to practice as a radiologist in Grande Prairie, Alberta for 30 years.  He found his passion in the collection of Canadian art and his frequent travels to Cuba.

Dearest Luigi – son, brother and uncle – though your physical presence has been taken from us, your spirit will never fade.  We are forever thankful for the time we had with you.  Your willingness to help others and ask for nothing in return will never be forgotten.  Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.  Love always, your family.

Prayers will be recited on Thursday, November 9th at 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm, both at the St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna, BC, with Father Bart officiating.  Entombment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or to share a memory, please scroll down this page to the area called “share your condolences.”
