Condolences

  • Edna Swanson says:

Tena was not only my sister, but also my friend and mentor. She advised me in many ways. Tena was an excellent cook and baker and was known for her gracious hospitality. She loved the Lord and had a heart for missions. At some point she corresponded with more than 30 missionaries. On several occasions she had mentioned that I was the best birthday present she ever got, when I arrived on her birthday. This past Saturday, April 9, I was able to speak to her and her last words to me were “I love you my dear sister.” Tena, I loved you and will always remember your kind and helpful ways. Till we meet again. Your loving sister, Edna.
