Condolences

  • Lisa Johansen nee Meuleman says:

To my best childhood friend Elaine. I wish to offer my condolences. Big Hugs for you and your family.

  • Shirley Guthrie (Hemmerling) says:

I am sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. He lived a good long life. He loved the Lord. He was a faithful man. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the family members, with my love.

  • Bill and Rosemary Badke says:

Even after a life well lived, and a new stage begun, we mourn the loss of our dear Uncle Bob. We will miss his dry humour and kindness. Heaven is blessed to have him. Our thoughts are with the whole family. May the Lord be your support and blessing as you move forward. Unfortunately, we were not able to get to Kelowna, but we will be praying as the service proceeds.

  • Harriet Kern says:

In January, I mailed a card and note to Bob and Lena since I was late sending out my Christmas cards. ( I live in East Lansing, MIchigan.) Yesterday, the card was returned to me, so I scanned it and sent it in an e-mail, but that was returned to me as well. So, today, I now see through my internet search that Bob passed away in late December. So……… I send my deepest sympathy to Lena and to the rest of your family. Bob was so kind to e-mail me regularly when my mother, Irmgard Grapentin Kern, of Sarnia, Ontario, was hospitalized at 100 years of age three years ago. She passed away in April, 2015. After that, Bob and I continued our occasional correspondence. His last e-mail indicated that things were getting rougher for him health-wise and for Lena too. I was so sorry to hear that.
Bob was a very kind, warm, and interesting gentleman. May he rest in peace.
    With my sincere sympathy,
    Harriet Kern
