Swedos George

SWEDOS, George Adam

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 25, 2018 at the age of 85. Born in Minton, Saskatchewan and was the only child of John and Elizabeth Swedos.

George married Mary on Feb 7, 1959 in Richmond, BC. They moved with their family to Kelowna Feb 1974 where he continued to work as a fork lift driver at Crown Packaging until retiring at age 61. He was a volunteer firefighter at the Lakeview Heights Firehall for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 59 years, and three daughters Katherine Swedos, Jacqueline Vig, Deborah Swedos and one grandson Jared Lamirante.

Mary, Kathy, Jackie and Deborah would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the Drs. and nurses of the ICU team at Kelowna General Hospital…..especially Rollie…you took extra special care of our dad and we thank you.

There will be no service as per his wishes.
