We Remember

SYRNYK, William

March 22, 1922 — October 9, 2017

William Syrnyk, born in Ethelbert, Manitoba on March 12, 1922, passed peacefully in Spring Valley Care Centre at the age of 95 on October 9, 2017.  He is predeceased by his wife Mary Syrnyk.  William is survived by his daughter Sylvia Stepanick (Leonard); sons Lawrence Syrnyk (Judy) and Hilary Syrnyk (Diane); grandchildren Curtis Syrnyk (Karen), Michael Syrnyk (Dianna), Tracy James (Chuck), Ryan Stepanick (Amanda), Kyle Syrnyk (Tara) and Jason Syrnyk (Angie); and great-grandchildren Stephen Syrnyk, Dylan Syrnyk, Tanner Syrnyk, Kali Syrnyk, Brooklyn James, William Syrnyk, Nicholas Syrnyk and Dillon Syrnyk.

Divine Liturgy to be held on Friday, October 13 at 9:30 am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1091 Coronation Avenue, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC, www.alzheimer.ca/bc.
