Dear Wendy and Mark, Rick and Helen and families,
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Mr. Shrieves was a lovely man and I was glad to have known both of your parents
    while growing up.
    My condolences to you all,
    Dale

  • Sandy Rochon says:

Wendy & Mark, Rick & Helen and your families,
    My condolences to you all.
Some of my favourite memories are from my visits in Nelson, I always felt welcomed. The wine glass was always full, the pool and hot tub always ready, and the best turkey ever done on the barbecue! Oh, and our wedding cake! After 30 years, the cake I kept is still consumable! I think there was more rum than fruit! His sage advice to me was to love what you do, enjoy your passion and most of all be the happiest that you can be.
He gave us lots to remember.

  • Delores (McLellan) Davidson says:

I just saw these obits for Tom & Lorraine. They were very close friends of mine and my Family. I am Ricky’s Godmother and your grandparents Josie and Louis Freno were godparents to myself and my brother Mickey. I was born in Nelson, grew up in Kimberley and have lived in Calgary since 1960. If by chance you should read this, pls contact me at the above email. Thanks. Delores
