We Remember

ANSELL, Martha May

Passed away on March 30th 2014 at the age of 88.  Survived by her loving family, two sons: Brian (Patty) and Tim; grandchildren: Jade, Kelly, Brandy (Mark), Stormy, Geoff and Hillary; six great grandchildren; sister Mary Block of Campbell River; Frank and Fred Kynoch of Drayton Valley.  Predeceased by her husband Noble, son Roger and daughter-in-law Karen.  Born in Drayton Valley, AB, Martha and Noble moved to Kelowna in 1971, where they raised their three children in the Mission area.  A very special thanks goes out to Mrs. Mickey Smit for being an endearing family friend, along with the staff at Joseph Benjamin and Cottonwood Care Facility.  A gathering to celebrate Martha’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, www.cysticfibrosis.ca/If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

    I think of May with such fond memories. We had such good times , years ago , in Whitecourt.
    Both May And Noble were very good neighbors.

    I will miss May’s phone calls looking for Tim, her warm touch when she would hold my hand, and the sparkle in her eyes when she would tell me her stories of the love she had for Noble. Rest now May. Love Lois
