CAREFOOT, Donald James

Went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2013 at the age of 40.  Survived by his loving wife Trish Carefoot; daughter Marissa; son Josh; mother and father Ed and Helen Carefoot; sister Alicia; nieces: Kaitlyn, Heidi, Jillian, Casaundra; nephews: Liam and Byron.  Don spent his life doing his best to make other’s lives better.  Born in Gander, Newfoundland and during his life he lived in Inuvik, Masset, Bermuda, Vancouver Island, where he met his wife and then settled in the Okanagan, where they had their family.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Children’s Hospital, 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 4H4.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
