My condolences to Adrian, Lisa and all the family. Erika was a wonderful person and I have such fond memories of our times together. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding in 1969 and was a friend when I needed her. A wonderful woman inside and out. I will miss her always.

  • Hanna Bolk says:

Erika was a wonderful neighbour and a dear friend. She had such a playful side and she taught me not to take things too seriously. She was a conversationalist and kept us in stitches at many teas and dinners.
Condolences to you, Adrian, and to your family at this difficult time. I count myself so lucky to have had Erika in my life. We had a lot of good times!

So sorry to hear of your loss Adrian. I worked at Westbank Packers at the same time as your mom but in the plant. Enjoyed working with her at the Senior Centre she was very friendly. Remember the good moments that the two of you shared.

  • Edith Gesch says:

Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
You mother, sister was always thinking about others. Even a month ago during this battle she focused on collecting Items for the gospel mission, woman’s shelter, in from the cold and teen challenge to name a few. She was always trying to fill a need. Never putting herself first. Looking out for the other guy. I remember her on canada day decked out in red passing along the Canadian spirit to everyone she saw that day. She was an amazing woman. A real gift to us all.

  • Joanne Jay says:

Erika and I met only a couple of times when she came to card workshops with her friend and neighbour. I remember her wonderful sense of humour and positive attitude on every subject. She will be very missed by those who were closest to her. Knowing she is resting in peace in the arms of the Lord should be a comfort to everyone.

If I had to describe Erika in one word, it would be ‘Jolly’. So, I can’t help but remember her laughing at some joke or situation (and the sillier the better).

  • Donna Kneller says:

May your memories bring you comfort Adrian. Your mother was a great lady and friend she will be missed greatly.

  • Roy Lechner says:

I am grateful to have known Erika, and honoured that she called me friend. Your mother, Adrian, seemed always ready to do something. ‘Do’ seemed at least one of her operative words (maybe along with ‘party’). More often than not, I suspect, the doing was for others. And often, too, she was the energy that got others moving to ‘do’. She will be much missed. Peace to you and your family.

  • Wbrewer says:

There are not enough words to express the loss of our dear friend Erika. A lady I was privileged to know. Condolences to Adrian and Family.
