My papa is the best man I have ever known. He was smart, strong, brave and loving. I love you Papa and you will be dearly missed!

  • Ellen Kelley says:

I am so sorry Chuck is gone and had such a difficult last year. I enjoyed knowing him and was hoping to have another visit. Thank you to him for taking such good care of my cousin June. My sympathies to all the family.

  • Ted Cronmiller says:

Charlie as I knew him was my first Sgt when I left training and came to Richmond BC. He gave me the mentorship that led to 34 years in the RCMP. My condolences to the family.

  • Bill McCheyne says:

Very sorry to hear of Charlie’s
passing. Have very fond memories of our days in Cloverdale. “One of the good guys”

  • Peter Bond says:

When I rejoined the Force in 1971 I was posted to Richmond Township Detachment under Sgt. Huggard’s supervision. I quickly found he was well respected by all of his “B” Watch members for his fairly applied stern but even authority. I admired that he had come over from the BC Provincial Police. Several years ago I called him in Kelowna just to say “Hello”. I was pleased he remembered me. After a short visit he thanked me for the call. Rest in peace Charlie, you’ve lived an abundant life.
