KLAKOWICH, Adam

ADAM KLAKOWICH of Kelowna passed away peacefully at Pine Acres Home on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 96.  Survived by his loving children Wanda (Tom) Moshuk, Edward Klakowich, Chris Lefenko; five grandchildren Jon (Lesley) Moshuk, Ardelle (Scott) Hodgins, Loretta (Mike) Mysak, Dana (Jason) Mitchell, Ken (Andrea) Lefenko; eight great grandchildren Tye, Brynn, Magda, Jonah, Laney, Finn, Madden, Ben.  Predeceased by his wonderful wife Nettie December 1, 2007.  Adam leaves a number of nieces and nephews in BC and Alberta.  Thank you to Dr. R. Williams, Kelowna General Hospital and the staff of Pine Acres Home for their excellent care. Adam was born in Grymalowka, Poland on September 4, 1918. Adam was a WW11 veteran.  He was an avid camper and fisherman and loved the outdoors.  He loved his music and dance.  Adam always enjoyed the company of all his family.  There is a huge emptiness in our lives now that Mom and Dad have passed.  They were both gentle and kind people that we will love and remember always.  No service to be held.  Cremation has taken place.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
