We Remember

KUTNY, Nick

Nick peacefully went into the presence of the Lord at home in Kelowna on March 10, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife Lydia of 64 years, three daughters; Judy, Marg and Brenda, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  He is also survived by five brothers and one sister.  He had a heart for God and never feared the day he would go to meet Him.  He will be greatly missed but we rejoice knowing we will all meet again.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC, V1W 3N4.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Evangel Missions c/of Evangel Church.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

Condolences

  • Harvey and Edith Benson says:

How wonderful for Nick to be with Jesus but sad for you, Lydia and the family to say “good-by”to “your man”, dad and grandpa. Saturday mornings at the Food Court will not be the same without Nick. It will be a happy day when we all meet again in heaven with our loved ones and with our precious Savior. We are in Arizona so will miss the funeral but will be with in our thoughts and prayers. Blessings and Love – Harvey and Edith

  • Sai Piyapan says:

    Dear Lydia and Nick’s Family,

My name is Sai and I am a thai chef at Mon Thong Thai restaurant. Nick and Lydia were regular customers and Nick’s favorite was number 18 with brown rice and chinese tea. I just wanted to let you know how much of a joy it was to see you and cook for you. Nick always had very encouraging words for me, and it always made my day.

I will forever miss serving him his favorite meal and talking with him while he was dining. I am very sorry for your loss. Nick will truly be missed.

    Sincerely,

    Sai Piyapan

  • Irene Switzer says:
