LECAVALIER, Danielle (nee Roy)

December 1, 1946 — March 13, 2015

On Friday, March 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with brain cancer Danielle passed away at Kelowna Hospice. Danielle leaves behind her beloved husband of 48 years, René. Adored sister to Linda and brother-in-law Ken Baxter, loving daughter to Phyllis Roy. Predeceased by her father Leo Roy. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Ian Baxter. Her free spirit, generosity and kindness will be in our hearts forever. A private service will be held at Springfield Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.     To: Rene, Linda and Ken, Ian, and Aunt Phil. I am so, so sorry to hear about Didi’s passing. She was a bright and lovely lady, both inside and out. I have not seen all of you in years, but I remember all the great times we had at the camp in Canada when we were younger. Those times were the best. Memories are something to cherish, and I will always cherish all the memories of your family. 48 years is a long time to live with someone, and I know that Rene will have many memories to cherish.
