Bill was one of the most outgoing members I have ever met. I met Bill back in 1993 in Kelowna and he was so nice to deal with. I eventually got to work in Plainclothes with him and it proved to be a friendship I valued greatly. Rest in peace my old friend.

What a shock to read of Bill’s passing. I will always remember his garage with a t.v. beer fridge and all the neighbour men being entertained by Bill. He will be missed by so many.

Although we did not know bill well, we moved here from blind bay in august of 2013 to the lower mission area & were looking for a down to earth pub with friendly people. Well that is how we found the creekside pub and bill. He made us feel more then welcome with a little cheeky side. We will truly miss him. Our sincere condolences to the family, Bill & Gitte Linterman

  • Bob Blakey says:

    To Bill’s family,

I’m sorry for your loss. I met Bill only once, when he sold me a 1968 Ford Mustang fastback at his house in Maple Ridge, in October 1976. He struck me as an honest man, and the details he gave me about the Mustang proved to be accurate.

I still have the car, and occasionally think of Bill when I drive it.

    Regards,

    Bob Blakey
