TAYLOR, Robert “Bob”

January 1, 1970 — January 1, 1970

Bob passed away peacefully at Lakeview Lodge on March 27, 2015. Predeceased by son Michael, May 20, 2011. He leaves to mourn his wife Lorraine, daughters Janice and Cindy, son Rob (Eileen), eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Bob was born in Regina, SK January 4, 1925 and joined the Navy at 18 years of age. He moved to Kelowna working with and later buying Gem Cleaners, Tailors and Furriers. He belonged to the Capri East Rotary Club and was honored by receiving a Paul Harris Award. Bob loved golfing and being with his friends. He and his wife travelled extensively during their 45 years of marriage. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered dearly by his loving family and family friend Mike O’Brien.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 35 Westminster Ave E, Penticton, BC V2A 1H7.     We send our condolences to you and your family on Bob’s passing. We did enjoy the evenings we had at Bill and Bev’s when we watched football, haggled over the money in the ‘pools’ or played cards with you folks. He will be missed, but lots of good memories.
