We Remember

WILSON, Earle James (Jim)

August 20, 1932 — July 1, 2014

Passed away July 1, 2014, at the age of 81 with his family by his side. He was born the youngest of 7, in Liberty, Saskatchewan, to his loving parents John and Isabel. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doreen, his sons, Rick (Laurie), Chris (Stef), his daughter, Lee Anne (Marc), and grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Carolyn, Andrea, Duncan, Heather, Shane, Megan, Emilie and Charlotte. Jim was always up for a new adventure and tried lots of different activities with Doreen at his side: golfing, skiing, tennis, badminton, and cards. Jim and Doreen loved to travel, and especially loved their frequent trips to the Casinos in Reno. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren, and bragged about their accomplishments to everyone he met. We offer our sincere gratitude to the team of doctors, nurses and support staff, who attended Jim on 4East in Kelowna General Hospital. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 1:00 pm at the Lexington Clubhouse, at 650 Lexington Drive, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name, to a charity of your choice.
