Family Care
For most of us, there will never be a day quite like the one following a funeral.
Energy spent in preparing for the funeral gives way to profound weariness. With fewer distractions, the reality of loss seeps into places we didn't even know existed.
People around us ease back into their routine.
It's hard to imagine how anyone could think clearly - or even care - about the many things that need to be taken care of following a funeral.
That's where FAMILY CARE steps in ...
We offer Family Care because we know it makes a difference to families who have entrusted us with their loss. A trained Family Care advisor helps you begin the healing process by providing valuable “hands-on” assistance with many of the tasks (large and small) that must be dealt with. We feel strongly about getting involved and helping you with some important phone calls and paperwork.
Here is what you can expect from Family Care
Practical Help
In our experience, beneficiary changes, bank account updates and timely insurance claims are among the most pressing matters facing a survivor, and may impact your financial well-being. Some things, left undone, have the potential to complicate your life if not addressed in a timely manner. That's why they're on our list and why we are ready to help you tackle them.
Whatever it takes
Want us to make phone calls? That's what we'll do. Need us to get a claim in works? That's what we'll do. And if you're not sure where to start, we'll help you determine a plan of action.
Follow-up too
We provide a handy worksheet where every phone call we make on your behalf will be noted.
Whatever is promised during those calls - from forms in the mail to answers that are in the works - will be recorded. We have promised future help (such as filling out forms), be assured we will check in with you periodically so we can be available when the forms arrive.
And please remember, this is compliments of Springfield Funeral Home.
