“Well, anyone that has been in the building knows that it’s warm and friendly and welcoming.”

“It’s a very calm and quiet and peaceful place.”

“The idea that everything could be here – the reception, the chapel – you know, if you needed the cars to go to the grave site, whatever, everything was all in one place and that was important to me.”

“The fact that Springfield has so many different rooms that are accommodating for, for a situation like this, where you have the room where they allowed us to have daddy’s open casket, so that it wasn’t in the major service room. And they had a big enough service room for as many people or as little people as possible. And then we had another room for the social side of being in a funeral, where people can eat and drink and share stories that are more of an intimate rather than in a service-type of scenario.”

“Both of my parent’s funerals were well over 200 people. So, there are not very many venues, even some of the smaller churches in town – just can’t accommodate those kinds of people.”

“They certainly have made every effort to make it as comforting to the families as possible.”
