“Everybody at Springfield did an amazing job. Everybody was sensitive and caring and made it really personal. We never felt pressured into things. They were very patient.”

“David was the person that we, that we dealt with the most. And it was easy. We had, I felt like I could, I had his own personal phone line. Um, I probably didn’t, I don’t know. But it felt like every time I needed to talk to him about something, or there was a question, or we needed to change a photograph for the, for the front of the program for dad’s funeral, I always got a hold of him. And I know how busy he is, cause every time we come here, there’s something going on and there is some business that he has to attend to, but yet it feels like that two minutes, or that ten minutes, or that half an hour, or even the hour that we spent is completely ours.”

“David was there totally. Um, very sympathetic, understanding, professional. Um, it just took a lot of pressure off.”

“When we met with, with Sheila who was with us, it was like talking to, to a friend almost over a kitchen table. You walked into a funeral home, but when we left it wasn’t like we were leaving a funeral home.”

“I mean, you can’t fake a lot of real, sincere caring. You just can’t, you know. Either they do it, or they don’t. And they do.”
