Joanne Bonk

COMMUNITY RELATIONS / FAMILY EXPERIENCE

Joanne grew up in small town southern Saskatchewan and moved to Kelowna in 1980. Although she loves the beauty of the Okanagan with its lakes, valley and blossoms, she still has an appreciation and love for the landscape of the prairies with the beauty of the summer time patch-work harvest. Her previous careers have been in Banking, Interior Design and working as an Operations Manager.

Joanne recently married Norm and together they have shared in ministry. Combined they have three children, Keri, Chad and Chris and three wonderful grandchildren which, to Joanne’s delight, live in Kelowna. Joanne has traveled to Bolivia, Mexico and Ukraine on Mission trips. She enjoys crafts and activities that allow for creativity and expression and yes, that includes the grandchildren.
