We Remember
CAREFOOT, Lelani Iris
December 22, 1947 — October 4, 2015
Iris passed away peacefully in Kelowna after an almost yearlong battle with Cancer. She is survived by her husband and soul-mate Brad; her two children Jenine of Surrey, and Ted of Kelowna; four grandchildren Kayla, Dustin, Aidan and Tyler.
Besides her family in Kelowna and Vancouver, she is survived by her sister Marnie Bazak and extended family in Ontario and BC. Iris was a loved wife, mother and friend to many lives she touched over the years with her involvement in various recreational activities, and work relationships, which inspired friendships ranging near and far across the country.
Many thanks goes to the staff at the Kelowna General Hospital, the Kelowna Cancer Society and Palliative care group, for all their efforts in comforting her throughout her treatment.
In lieu of flowers, should family and friends choose to make memorial donations please consider the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of their choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Iris on October 18, 2015 from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack, BC. Please contact Brad or Ted for further details

I am the neighbour girl that Iris befriended when we lived in Delta in the 80’s, just the last couple of days
my thoughts were of her and her wonderful family. My son Dustin is now 30 and was only a baby when I saw you last before moving to Ontario, so very sorry for your loss Brad, DD and Ted.
