Condolences

  • Merilyn Bohn says:

Precious sister in Jesus, the Lord of all. I am glad for you. You are with the Saviour of the world face-to-face. On earth you will be greatly missed for you brought an inimitable sense of your Saviour and mine. “To live is Christ,” so the Apostle Paul says, “and to die is gain”. Now you walk in the fullness of all that entails. Jealous, envious? A little, but the One who calls is faithful and His mercies never fail. How can it be goodbye, when we have an eternity together? Love Merilyn and Phillip Bohn

  • Rita Letkeman says:

I got to know Maria more intimately through our Thursday morning prayer group. Maria was a passionate prayer warrior for the rights and of the unborn who don’t have a voice and for the persecuted Christians in other countries who suffer for the name of Christ. You were a treasure to our prayer group and His chosen possession. This is another pic from our special Canada 🇨🇦 Day celebration last July with new International friends.

We remember meeting and praying with Maria in Cloverdale and for her kind hospitality.
Blessed that she and Tony were key co-workers with us and others in the outreach to the Roma people.
    Eternal blessings Maria.

  • Deanna and Bob Fernandes says:

We got to know Maria and Tony as neighbors in Cloverdale, but that relationship quickly matured into a deep friendship and common interest – love of the Lord, protection of the unborn and pursuit of truth.
Maria has gone to a better place, but to Tony we offer our heartfelt condolences, and prayer for comfort and peace in his great loss. Our blessing and comfort is that we know that one day we will meet all of our departed loved ones again – there will be no parting.

  • Maureen Madigan says:

It was with great sadness that I heard of the sudden passing of Marienka. Such a warm caring, kind, generous and good human being. I was privileged to have spent many happy times in her company with my later brother Seamus during my time in Canada. Their birthdays fell around the same time and they were always celebrated with fun laughter, friends, good food and a beverage or two. My deepest condolence to Tony and Marienka’s family at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Marienka is with her God now – may she rest in peace.. Gone but never forgotten.

  • Slavomir Almajan says:

    Dear Tony and family,
As we remember Maria’s life (What a life!), Florence and I offer our condolences even if the words cannot even approximately express the debt of Maria’s love for us and our love for you, Tony and Maria. Just a short while ago she said a prayer in our backyard and blessed our family. Little did we know that these words addressed to God for us would be her last words we heard from her. She was always a blessed presence among us through her kind words, her optimism, and her loving care for all of us that were close to her. “If it weren’t for COVID, Maria, (Florence said) I would have given you hundreds of hugs”. “This day will come, my dear, hopefully very soon.” Through Maria we have now many common friends who also were blessed by Maria’s presence.
Tony and family, Florence and I will cherish the memory of Maria as a God’s angel sent to bless us.
    With love in Christ,
    Slavomir & Florence Almajan
