Dear Ramona and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of Danal; my heart aches for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I only learned today of the passing of Danal. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Danal and I grew up together, and though we had lost touch, I found he was often in my thoughts. This was very sad news indeed.
Dan was my first boyfriend. We dated for almost 2 years in high school (almost an eternity at that age). I consider myself so lucky to have had Dan as a high school boyfriend. He was respectful, insightful, intelligent and lots of fun. He was my best friend for those years. I could not have asked for better. I remember how authentic he was with everyone and how he stood up for his beliefs. His hunting and fishing stories were a classic in our household and he became somewhat of a legend. Even my kids grew up knowing about « Dan the man ». I would have loved to have been able to see him again to rehash old memories and to catch up and I am sure that if I had, I would have met up with the same Dan I knew back then, only older, wiser, and with more life experiences to share. I am deeply saddened by his passing because I know he touched so many lives and was an authentic person right up until the end. He will remain in my life as a wonderful memory. I am lucky to have known him.
Ramona I am heartbroken for your family about this sudden loss. Sending you my deepest condolences.
Danal was well liked and such a joy in school. I am sorry to hear of his passing… too soon. Travel on Danal.. I always had this photo from a school project Grade 4
My sincere condolences. Daniel was my first crush in junior high. He was such a kind and handsome guy. Those blues eyes! RIP Daniel the angels are with you.
