Lydia peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving family, daughters Rose Croy (Bill) of Williams Lake, BC and Ingrid Bloomfield (Jamie) of Kelowna, BC, sons Bernie (Donna) of Calgary, AB and Daniel of Kelowna, BC, 11 grandchildren Andy, Chris, Matthew, Dylan, Christy, Stephanie, Jordan, Amy, Dustin, Jared and Jake, 12 great grandchildren, sister Emma, brothers Adolf, Waldemar and Deval and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Alfons, son Edmund and sister Wilma.

Ingrid, Jamie and family. We were heartbroken to hear your beautiful mom Lydia had passed away. She was so loving and giving – we’ll remember all the wonderful goodies she made for us to enjoy after hiking. She’ll be truly missed but never forgotten.
Dearest Stobert family, we are so sorry to hear of Lydia’s passing. She was a remarkable woman that we so enjoyed meeting through Ing and Bernie in Kelowna. She truly loved Jesus and others. We remember her very fondly. Love to our family in Christ, Victoria, Rob and Amelia xxx

Ingrid and Jamie, my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I will always remember your Mom as the kind and giving person she was. It was such a treat for all of us when she brought her delicious baking for us to eat after hiking. She will be missed by many.
Our deepest condolences go out to the whole family, as she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Stobert was truly a remarkable woman loved by all.

Thinking about our family get togethers when we were younger, your Mom was always a central figure in making those family occasions so very special. She had such an energy and spirit about her that you couldn’t help but enjoy yourself. We send our regrets as we are unable to join you at the funeral service but please know that you are in our thoughts. Hopefully, we will see you sometime in the future and share some fond memories of your Mom.
