We Remember
TOMPKINS, Terrence Gregory
June 1, 1952 — February 8, 2026
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the loss of Terrence Gregory Tompkins, who passed away while surrounded by family on February 8, 2026, at the age of 73.
Despite his many health problems (Polio as a baby and Scoliosis as a teen), Terry lived a full life. One of four boys, he moved from Saskatchewan to Kelowna, BC, at a young age. He cherished his friends, loved reading, older cars (specifically, a 1967 Halfback Barracuda), and Rock and Roll.
Terry was an accomplished architectural draftsman, designing many homes and carriage houses in the Kelowna area.
He was married to the girl of his dreams for 47 years. Together, they had one son, and one daughter. Terry leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren that he absolutely adored.
Terry will be remembered for his generous nature, wisdom, integrity, and the ability to enjoy life where he could, despite his health.
Terry will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
