We Remember
UPDATED – WINTERSTEIN, Luke Woodrow
March 8, 1973 — January 9, 2022
Luke Woodrow Winterstein passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2022, at age 48.
Luke was not only an extremely talented Stonemason and Woodworker, but he was also very creative, taking up hobbies such as photography, blacksmithing, and leather crafting. Luke had a great passion for the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music. Everyone loved Luke’s witty sense of humour and his true character. May he be recognized for his incredible strength and courage for not only making positive changes in his own life, but also for reaching out to help others in need. He will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten by family and friends.
Luke was preceded in death by his father, John Winterstein. Luke is survived by his daughter Emma, his mother Glenda Taylor, his sister Laura (Samuel), and nieces Mateya and Siena. Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Pastor Craig Wilson for his unwavering support and friendship to Luke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Church at www.lifeatclaremont.com.
