We Remember
WOLTERS, Elizabeth
—
Elizabeth Wolters (née Carhoun) peacefully passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 91. After the passing of her parents in the former Czechoslovakia, she immigrated to Canada in 1968. Elizabeth settled in Northern BC, where she met and married her husband, Lawrence. They had two sons, and through hard work and dedication, built a happy family life in Vernon, BC. In retirement, Elizabeth and Lawrence moved to Kelowna, BC in 2003. Elizabeth was intensely loving and dedicated to her family. She especially showed this by lovingly preparing many bountiful feasts for them throughout the years. Her famous apple strudel was a particular favorite. Her strong faith played a central role in her life. She was an integral part of her church community, and her caring, generous nature endeared her to all who were blessed to know her. Elizabeth also made heroic, unseen efforts to take care of Lawrence in his final years of declining health. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her children: John (Aimee) and Mark (Na) and three granddaughters who brought her much joy: Mei, Anna, and Maria; her beloved brother, Jan; and her many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to the caring staff at Springvalley Care Center.
Funeral mass to be held on TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC.

Dear Johnny and Mark and Families,
we are deeply saddened at the passing of your mom. She was an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to have known her.
We offer you our condolences and prayers to carry you through a difficult time.
Anna and Jan,
John and Mark –REZNIK
as above…..
To Aunt Ellie’s family, our sincere sympathy. My mother, Yvonne is Lawrence’s sister. We live in Quebec. She asked me to send you her best to you. She remembers having visited Aunt Ellie and Uncle Lawrence and havig been spoiled with her great cooking and kindness. I am cousin Valerie. I happened to have been at their wedding because we lived in BC back then.
Towards 2013 we met Mark Wolters and Na in Quebec. But we haven’t met John… Our 2 cousins who have perpetuated the Wolters name. God bless you!
