Manabu “Jacky” Azama passed away on April 9, 2018 at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving wife Etsuko; daughter Risa (Jack) Drysdale; sons Marshall (Jolene) and Kenny; grandchildren Kendell, Sydney and Jordan, all of Kelowna, BC; sisters Katsue Azama, Tomiko Liper; brother Toru Azama, all of Okinawa, Japan. He was predeceased by his mother Haruko, father Mano and brothers Takeshi and Tsutomu.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who, above all else, found joy in helping others and making them smile.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kelowna Hospice House www.hospicecoha.org , KGH Foundation www.kghfoundation.com or the BC Cancer Foundation www.bccancerfoundation.com .
