We Remember

EDMUNDS, Kevin John

Kevin passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the age of 55. He was an avid guitar player who was also well versed in keyboard and harmonica, having a passion for music, regularly informing his sister and mother on new talent or bands he had discovered. Being a vivacious reader of historical fiction, with an appreciation of Charles Dickens, often reciting passages, Kevin also kept himself busy conquering elaborate crosswords. On occasion, you would hear Kevin spouting famous film and TV quotes, ‘Sopranos’ being his favorite lines; he loved any creature, whether it be furry, feather, or scaled. Kevin was always willing to help others no matter their situation or lot in life.

Survived by his mother Sandra Robertson of Kelowna, BC, his brothers Dale Garry Edmunds (Maxine) of Calgary, AB, Brent Franklin Edmunds of Parksville, BC; his sister Leslie Jane Porter of Kelowna, BC and her father, Lu Porter of Beaver Flats, SK, his daughter Kerrie-Ann of Swift Current, SK, his father’s widow, Shirley Edmunds of Nanoose Bay, BC and his faithful cat, Richard Parker. Predeceased by his sister Debbie Anne Edmunds and father Garry Wayne Edmunds.
