Condolences

  • Chris Perreault, Ian Perreault & Family says:

Our sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. Shirley was a wonderful, straight forward person who never hesitated to offer help. She was a great help to me when Ian was young and I appreciated her “ear” and advice. Our thoughts are with all of you and I know Bill was there to meet her.
    Take care

My mom was my best critic and yet my strongest supporter. Mom because of you I am what I am today. Thank you. I love you and will miss you greatly! Debbie

My Grandma was one of the most special ladies I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life. I have so many fond memories with her especially as a child I don’t even know where to start. I will always remember her packing a picnic and taking me to the park to feed the ducks. How as a family we would go visit her and Papa every summer and swim for hrs in the pool. When we were done swimming she would wrap us up in our towels so tight we could barely breathe and swing with us on the swing while we ate lime creamsicles. How she taught my sisters and I to play uno and double solitare and she would play for hrs with us. Sometimes she would even cheat to win once we started to get good. But my most favorite memory of all as a child is how she would tuck me into bed and pull the covers up just over my ear and say it was to keep the noise out. That has always stuck with me and now I do that to my 2yr old son who every night  points to his ear and says, “Cover Mama” when I tuck him into bed. It’s moments like that I will hold onto and cherish forever. I love and miss you so much Grandma and give Papa a hug for me.❤

Debbie Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Last time I spoke to her was when I first moved to kelowna back the 90s.
